Don't you think that the X-Men Origins Wolverine Deadpool could of been fine if he used guns, had a mouth, mention the fact he had cancer, didn't have the whole "Barakapool" swords, and had a costume similar to his original one, very cool art BTW should send it to FOX
i think the sweater's a little goofy, along with the fact he has his eyes open, but it isn't (by a couple of miles) as goofy the X-Men Origins; Wolverine concept art where he's got his silly half mask thing going
Definitely man, the concept art for Origins were ridiculous. Yeah, I totally get what you're saying. The sweater idea was kinda inspired by the Punisher: War Zone movie where you see Frank Castle wear that military style sweater under is Kevlar vest. I thought that would be kinda cool for Deadpool 'cept it'll have to be red. As for the eye holes, I definitely love the mask from the comics with the whited out eyes, but I thought it might be hard to translate into film. I keep imaging Deadpool with these Spider-Man like lens over his eyes which would be fine except you'll lose all the facial expressions that he's known for. Overall, I just hope that the costume stays true to the character in the movie and that it actually gets made.
Hmmm... not bad. Looks pretty realistic to be in a movie, yet it captures all of the characteristice of the original costume. Just hope that if they do make a movie, this Deadpool can actually talk this time.
You are welcome. By the way, I'm trying to finish coloring my Deadpool vs. Deathstroke fake cover (see the ink version: [link]). When I finish it, could you give me your comments and/or Critique on it? Seeing that you are a big Deadpool fan, I wish for someone like you to share your thoughts and/or advice on my artwork.
Very, very cool. I love the costume design. But I was thinking, seeing as DPs eye movements and eye brow twitches are a big part of his humour, they should use CGI for his eyes, sorta how they did Rorschachs mask. Like, map the movements of Reynolds' face then CGI them onto the mask. But anyway, truly brilliant work.
I like this design alot. It's virtually perfect, it fits the Hollywood's obsession with trying to make superheroes look real (because comic books are soooooo realistic), and it's still very true to the character.
BTW, have you seen how he looks in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2?
Nice work man. I really do hope that Marvel does his classic Joe Kelly outfit. They really need to earn the respect of Deadpool fans and make this movie perfect and the best way to start is to not screw up the costume (see Ultimate Alliance 2). Nice work though, man!
unfortunately not. I'll ask him at Con next month as it's tradition for me to see him now. He's one of my biggest "friends" in the industry. Great guy. If you want to meet him, we should finally meet up AT Con. BTW, I'll have swords on the outfit this year... FINALLY!
