Batman by Vulture34 Batman by Vulture34
This was one of my first attempts at PhotoShop. I was a little influenced by Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns when I drew this one.

Very atmospheric. I love it.

Man, how are you not a pro for one of the big companies? Your art pisses all over some of the guys on the books these days.

Thanks dude, I wish I were. I have submitted work to Marvel and DC before and looking back on it now it actually looks kinda crappy :XD:. There's a lot hat goes into it other than just being able to draw well, like story telling, compositions, leaving spaces for the word bubbles and so on. Editors look at all these things while thinking about hiring someone. When I really focus and get my act together, I'm sure I'll get in. :D

Thank you so much!!
I do put a lot of effort to draw as much detail as possible, so I'm really glad that you noticed.

Here's another Batman piece that I think I was more successful with:[link]

WTF! Again, COMPLETELY cover-ready for DC. Although I prefer marvel of course ;)
Seriously. You should be working for a big name. I also like the campbell in the back XD

Thanks man,
I've been submitting my portfolio to Marvel and DC the last couple of years at Comic Con but, it's a tough business to break into. It'll happen sooner or later.
